Blitz Facial Bar maintains a strict hygiene policy using medical-grade cleaning and sterilizing products. Our aesthetician beds, stations, tools, and equipment are cleaned and sanitized after each treatment.

Do I need to book an appointment?

You can book online: Toronto or Park Slope. We do accept walk-ins; however, we cannot guarantee an immediate appointment. 

What is your skin care philosophy?

Blitz Facial Bar believes clear, healthy, and luminous skin requires a combination of facials and treatments, education on skin care, and an effective at-home skin care routine. Our Signature Facials and Advanced Treatments are exclusively designed by Blitz Facial Bar to maintain and restore skin’s health and appearance, and address specific skin care needs.

Who will perform my facial?

Blitz Facial Bar Aestheticians are certified, and the majority have completed an advanced Medical Aesthetics certification.

How do I prepare for my appointment?

Upon confirmation of your booking, we will email you a Health History Form which must be completed and submitted prior to your appointment.  

What if I am late for my appointment?

If you are running late, please contact us. Depending on our appointments, we may have to reschedule you.

What is your Cancellation Policy?

There is a 24-hour cancellation policy. Please note that you will be charged 50% of your facial treatment price if you fail to show up for your appointment, or cancel within 24 hours. A credit card number is required to secure your appointment.

How often should I have a facial treatment?

Being pro-active and looking after your skin is the best way to slow down the signs of aging and to keep your skin healthy, clear, and beautiful. As each skin is different, we recommend booking a Complimentary Consultation with one of our Aestheticians who will work with you in designing an effective skin care program taking into consideration your skin concerns, budget, and lifestyle.

What products do you use in your facials?

Blitz Facial Bar uses professional and clinically-proven skin care products in addition to Body Blitz Skin Care. Some Advanced Treatments include medical-grade products.  

Do I need to remove my makeup?

No. As part of the cleansing process, we will remove all makeup.

Do I have to change before my facial?

No. We will drape a Blitz Facial Bar cape over you.

Which facial should I get before my wedding?

It is best to book a Complimentary Consultation with one of our Aestheticians two to three months before your wedding. Our Aesthetician will assess your skin and recommend the best skin care program taking into consideration your skin concerns and budget.

Will my skin look red afterwards?

Your skin will look clear, nourished, and hydrated following a facial. However, if your skin is sensitive and you have microdermabrasion or IPL, it may appear a little pink for a few hours. More advanced treatments, such as a Medical Peel or Micro-Needling Rejuvenation may cause redness and tightness for a few days. A post-care treatment card is provided.

Can I wear makeup after my facial?

We prefer that you allow your skin to continue to absorb the nutrients and hydration without makeup. However, putting makeup on after will not harm your facial.

Are you wheelchair accessible?

Yes. Clients with special requirements are encouraged to advise a staff member prior to a facial so that we can accommodate them accordingly.

Can I bring my pet?

No. Under the Health Protection and Promotion Act, Personal Services Settings: “Every operator of a personal service setting shall ensue that the personal service setting is kept free from animals, including birds, aquatic species and reptiles.”

What is your skin care product return policy?

Unopened skin care products can be exchanged or returned for a Blitz Facial Bar credit within 14 days of purchase.
